Mia’s Spa, a place to relax, heal and rejuvenate.

Mia Severson draws upon over 10 years experience in beauty and holistic wellness. She started her career by selling durable medical equipment to patients and doctors. It wasn’t until her husband was in a car accident where she began using micro-current to help him get out of pain. She became a trainer for First Alternative Therapies to educate other doctors and patients on the benefits of micro-current. That lead her to discover the other benefits of micro-current for beauty and anti-aging.  

Mia decided to become a holistic skin therapist after learning and mastering micro-current and understanding the ingredients and their effects on the skin. She decided to combine her passions for micro-current and skincare by becoming a licensed Aesthetician in 2013. She went on to establish her own business and became the owner of Mia’s Spa in Delray Beach Florida. After opening her spa in Delray Beach for three years she re-located and expanded her office to our current downtown Lake Worth sap location.  

After earning a diploma in Esthetics from Beauty Schools of America, Mia continued her education and pursued more extensive education from the Skin Care line by Lira Clinical and recently became certified as an Aesthetician from the Dermalogica Institute School in Fort Lauderdale in 2017.  

She has additional certification and education in:  micro-current, hair removal, brow shaping artistry, non-traumatic chemical peels, body toning, collagen induction (known as derma-needling), and advance exfoliation technique including derma-planning. Mia also provides unique treatments such as skin tag, mole removal, and tattoo removal. Mia treats all skin types and conditions using the most advanced skin care system on the market today, among her expanding and continuing education.  

Her passion for knowledge in the dynamic, ever-changing skincare/beauty industry ensures that she stays informed with the latest technologies and cutting edge ingredients in skincare. She absolutely loves to share these skills with her clients. As a self-professed "beauty junkie" she continues to enjoy searching for the best in unique and "must have" beauty items and services. Every product at Mia’s Spa has been tried, tested and hand-chosen by Mia herself.

Her approach is one that encompasses all of the technical knowledge with a relaxing and soothing touch. Because of her dedication and love for the beauty industry she has gained the credibility and loyalty of all her clients.
